FSFE Delivers a Talk at the University of East Anglia

We shared our mission and unique placement opportunities with students, highlighting how they can be part of building stronger futures.

Last week, the Fresh Start Future Enterprises (FSFE) team had the privilege of visiting the University of East Anglia (UEA) to deliver an inspiring talk about our work and the impactful placement opportunities we offer.

The session was led by one of our amazing caseworkers, who shared firsthand experiences of supporting individuals through the criminal justice system, joined by one of our current UEA placement students. This powerful duo provided a unique, real-world perspective showcasing not only the vital work we do but also the transformative professional and personal development a placement with FSFE offers.

The talk focused on how we break down barriers and build stronger, safer communities. It was a brilliant opportunity to connect with passionate students, discuss the challenges of rehabilitation, and show how their skills can make a tangible difference.

"We were thrilled by the engagement and insightful questions from the students," said our caseworker. "It’s energising to see the next generation so committed to social change. Having our current placement student there to share their journey really brought the experience to life."

A huge thank you to the University of East Anglia for hosting us and to every student who attended. We left feeling inspired and are excited about the potential of welcoming new student talent to our team.
